Our Story
Hawk Rest Ranch began as a simple idea: what if a visitor could actually hear themselves think? Tucked along Ragis Road in Edgewater, our ranch sits far enough from the noise that the only things you notice are the birds at dawn and the way a home-cooked meal tastes when you're not in a rush.
We offer a small number of rooms — intentionally few — so every guest gets attention, not a key-card queue. Breakfast is cooked when you're ready. Dinner is a shared table experience, not a minibar. And the land around us invites long walks, stargazing, and the kind of silence that actually restores you.

Our largest room — sitting area, king bed, and a porch overlooking the yard. Ideal for a longer stay or a quiet work retreat.

Meals Included
"Board" at Hawk Rest Ranch isn't a coffee station and a cereal box. Breakfast is eggs, biscuits, fruit, and coffee that's been brewing since before sunrise — served when you're ready, not when a timer says so.
Dinner is a proper meal, shared if you like, made with ingredients we can name. We accommodate dietary needs when asked in advance. The point isn't fancy — it's that you eat something real and go to bed satisfied.
If you prefer to keep your own schedule, early plates and packed lunches are always available. This isn't a rigid operation; it's a home that feeds people well.
